I Said Yes! Our Engagement Story - November 15, 2019
It’s a New Year! I’m so excited for everything we have to look forward too in 2020!
We’re starting to plan our Wedding! But before I start sharing all the wedding planning bliss, I wanted to share how the magic all went down!
So it all started on Friday November 15th 2019, I got reached out to from an amazing local photography company Jonathan Productions Inc. I had worked with earlier that year, they said they were looking for different couples to help promote their holiday promotions! Now - me being me, I thought they just thought I was fabulous model lol So I was all for it and thought “well this will just give me and Aurey a chance to finally get some couples photos done!” So I said yes!
So November 15th rolls around and we meet up at an agreed upon Location - Centennial Conservatory Park!
We do a couple of photos that i’m just obsessed with…
& then this happens!
He just plopped down on one knee in the snow!
- OK PAUSE -
Can we take a moment and look at my beautiful ring!!
As we know I’m a particular kind of lady so I picked out my ring back in the summer and showed Aurey what I wanted! And she is GORGEOUS!!!

OBVIOUSLY I SAID YES!
So after this we head to Moxies at a particular location - this is the place we had our very first date and they even reserved the booth we sat at! It was just the sweetest thing! They brought us champagne and a desert!
THEN to make an amazing night even better - we headed home after running some errands, and I was met with an apartment full of my family and friends! YA’LL I CRIED!!! Some of the most amazing friends and family a girl could ask for decorated my apartment and we ate, drank and partied the night away!
HONESTLY…
I could ramble on forever but I just wanted to share this amazing moment with you all! As mentioned earlier I am already starting to plan our wedding - it’ll be November 2021!
