How To Get a DOPE job with minimal Experience + A Free, 8 Step Checklist to get you started!
Welcome Back! So as I mentioned in a previous post about leaving my job (Click here to read) I talked about my new path! Things DIDN'T quite go as planned! But I believe it was for a reason, as I do all things that don't go right! So let me tell you how things ACTUALLY went! Scroll down for some bomb tips too!
So after my epic passing of my exam! I was like BOOM! I'm gonna just march on into this job that was waiting for me...
And it wasn't waiting for me.
I was gut punched when I was told the gentleman literally hired people a month before (when I should have originally passed) and I literally cried for an entire day. I felt like an epic failure, all over again! I just kept thinking, now I have to start from scratch and it's going to suck!
So after that I got some amazing advice from my sister who is already crushing it in this industry and decided to get to it! Start applying for jobs! Jobs I was qualified for and
especially jobs I WAS NOT qualified for!
I started thinking about my qualities and what I would kick ASS at and decided, newbie or not, I'm going to rock it! So I did! After a few weeks of sending out resumes day after day, I finally got a call..well three to be exact. 3 Telephone interviews within the span of 24 hours! I couldn't believe it! And after crushing the phone interviews I had secured 3 in person interviews! I was SO excited and SO nervous!
It's funny, the job that reached out to me first was originally last on my radar! They came out of the clear blue sky! THEN upon meeting them, they jumped right to the top! I was DYING for the job! So I went to work!! I decided quickly what I was prepared to go after, knowing I would be a complete newbie!

"IT'S NOT ALWAYS WHAT YOU WANT THAT'S BEST FOR YOU, BUT RATHER WHAT IS PUT IN FRONT OF YOU! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE A DOOR CLOSING IS FOR A BETTER DOOR TO OPEN"
So I'm starting my new job shortly and I AM JUST SO excited!! So I thought I would share the steps I took with all of you!
