Welcome Back! This Week I'm sharing with you my love for creating Vision boards! I'v been creating them since I was 23 yrs old and I am 28 today, so you can tell I do enjoy creating them! So scroll down to read 5 reasons to Create a Vision board + 5 Different Ways to Create One! Enjoy!
So my project this weekend is to create my vision board! I create one every year and decided to share my thoughts about them and the different ways to have them with all of you! So let's get into it!
- To Visually See what you're working for, grinding for, pushing for EVERY chance you can.
- To keep yourself accountable.
- The more you see it, the more you want it. The more you work you're willing to put in!
- Each time you make a step forward or accomplish one you feel that much better about your daily grind!
- You need to declare it to the universe and get SUPER clear and stick to that vision to push on with purpose!
5 Different Ways to Create One:
1. A large project board on your wall:
I've created a vision board like this many times, it's good to have and fairly simple, especially if your a magazine collector/buyer. It makes the whole process easy!
2. A screen saver on your Computer At work. At Home:
Another easy way to create and always have easy access to this vision board! Looking at my computer at home on a constant basis, this is a great place to have it! Can move it around easy, e-mail it to yourself so you can have access to it at work!
3. A Mini board on your phone:
So you can check in with you have one of those work day, you can just escape and remind yourself what it's all for! This is for those who can't access their VB on their work computers!
4. A Cork Board:
So you can switch out your pictures as you crush your goals! This is a style preference. You can have this in your office or in your bedroom!
5. Mesh Mood board:
A newly trending style! Getting a mesh board and small clothes like pins and using that to post your favorite quotes, and images to help help keep you motivated!
These are just a few different ways to display your VB! I love them all and there are still so many different ways!
How to collect images?
-You can collect images and phrases from your magazine collection! Cut them out and then place them how you'd like on your board.
-Print out pictures/phrases you know you specifically want on your board!
-You can make it a larger project and take actual pictures of images/ phrases/ words that inspire you and place them on your board.
-Copy and cut and paste on your computer or handheld device to create a small VB
These are just a few different ways one can create a vision board for themselves!
So once Mine is completed next week, I'll share it with all of you!

So here we are, MONTHS later! This was originally posted March 24, right as I was dealing with a hard time. I did not feel motivated to complete my vision board. More importantly, I was not SURE of what I wanted, where I wanted my life to go and what I wanted to strive for. So I put it off....as I felt I would have created a false vision board. I needed time, to figure ME out, to get things sorted.
Then I did, & it's September 10th as I write this and things have began to fall into place, and once that started to happen and I was REALLY feeling like I was moving forward, I FINALLY felt like I could genuinely create a vision board I knew was really aligned with my thoughts, wants, and hopes in moving forward!
If I can share anything about my time from MARCH to SEPTEMBER, it's don't rush yourself. You will come into your own, at the pace the universe intends, as long as you're putting in the work and showing and KNOWING what it is you want. The reason why vision boards work is because you are truly driven emotionally and physically by what you see everyday. If I look at my old VB posted about, I have a new career, with a new job, got closer with my sister and better deal with relationships in my life. Anything I still have yet to achieve, either moved forward with this new VB or was removed because it no longer aligns itself with what I really want in my life!
So here it is:
And so this is where I stand today! Let's see what we can get done going forward!
LIKE it?! PIN it!!
